Direct Support Associate (Residential)
The Direct Support Associate will have the exciting opportunity to help advance the mission of NextGen Health Services Inc. by providing safe and nurturing care in our DDA-approved residential home. This care may include assistance with activities of daily living, behavior management, and skill development. This position will allow for the opportunity to develop on-going relationships with individuals in their homes and in the community as they work toward goals and skills for independent living.
Minimum qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Experience or Interest working with people with disabilities or other behavioral issues required and demonstrated ability in providing support in a respectful manner that meets the various needs of individuals served.

Valid Driver’s License

Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships

Excellent verbal & written skills

Must believe everyone can work.

Must be able to understand and effectively manage the physical, emotional, and cognitive needs of the people that you work with.

Must have excellent time management and customer service skills. Strong ability to think creatively and develop strong internal and external relationships and resources is required.

Knowledge of ASL strongly preferred.

CPR and First Aid required. Other certifications and training are required after hire.
Physical qualifications
Flexible schedule will be required due to varying hours. Must be able to stand/walk 50% of work time, sit and/or drive 50%. Must be able to lift, carry, push and/or pull 40 pounds. Must be able to stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and reach. All of these requirements are necessary in order to supervise and assist individuals with disabilities.
Note: This position may require use of your personal vehicle to transport persons served when and if agency's vehicle is unavailable. All NextGen Health Services Inc. transportation policies must be followed while transporting for or on the behalf of NextGen Health Services Inc. NextGen Health Services Inc. will reimburse for mileage pursuant to the Travel policy.
Community Support Associate (CDS/PS)
The Community Support Associate is responsible for providing personal care services, community integration and assisting persons supported with maximizing their independence. The Community Support Associate will deliver services as outlined in the person-supported individual plan.

Client Support Specialist (Respite)
The CSS will have the exciting opportunity to help advance the mission of NextGen Health Services Inc. by providing safe and nurturing care, both in the client’s home and in a respite approved facility. This care may include assistance with activities of daily living, behavior management, and skill development. This position will allow for the opportunity to develop on-going relationships with individuals in their homes and in the community as they work toward goals and skills for independent living. It will also allow for exciting time with multiple individuals and colleagues through the provision of congregate respite care at a respite approved facility.
Minimum qualifications

Day Habilitation Specialist
The Day Habilitation Specialist supports assigned group of individuals in the Day Program to promote independence and personal growth. The Day Habilitation Specialist will work cooperatively with other staff to ensure that there is an integration of recreation, life skills development, and community integration in each individual's experience.

On-call Direct Support Professional (DSP)
The DSP (on-call) is trained to provide direct support to people supported in the Day Hab., community setting and during respite offering access the community, to make friends, to have fun and to be as self-sufficient as possible. He/she also provide support to people in residential/family homes settings. This support may include personal hygiene or social and recreational assistance. To enhance the ability of the participant(s) to lead a self-directed life by providing the support, guidance, and information necessary to build self-esteem, confidence, assertiveness, and to make decisions.
